For companies wishing to achieve environment compliance, proposed projects should cover any of the following:
- Wastewater treatment.
- Air pollution control equipment.
- Equipment to improve the manufacturing process.
- In-process improvements.
- Management of solid waste generated by the facility.
- Work environment.
Eligibility Criteria for Compliance Projects
Projects for funding should:
- Comply with BAT measures/emission values.
- Meet relevant sector performance benchmarks.
- Result in a reduction of resource use.
- Be implemented in environmentally compliant industrial establishments.
- Implemented in an industrial facility operating for >2 years.
- Production increases should not exceed 10% of design capacity and of alternative fuels at waste collection facilities can be eligible.
